Charitable Raffle Rules

Raffle Information:

The Kora Shrine, in partnership with Maine DeMolay, is hosting a charitable raffle in accordance with MRSA/1837-A. The total value of non-cash raffle prizes is estimated to be $1,651.

Raffle Location and Timing:

The raffle will be conducted online at https://demolay.maineonlineraffles.com/. It will commence at 12:01 AM on Sunday, October 6th, 2024 and end at 5:00 PM on Sunday, November 17th, 2024.

Ticket Sales:

Tickets will be available for purchase online via the Levin Marketing Solution LLC platform (https://levinsolution.com), a State of Maine approved payment management system, from 12:01 AM on Sunday, October 6th, 2024 and end at 5:00 PM on Sunday, November 17th, 2024. 

Approved Purchasers:

For online purchases, buyers must allow GPS access through the online system and physically be within the state of Maine during the transaction. Only debit cards will be accepted; credit cards and prepaid cards will not be valid. In case the platform fails to recognize the payment method, the transaction will be declined, and the purchaser will be prompted to use an approved payment method. Purchasers must be at least 18 years of age.

Prize Packages:

There will be two winners, each receiving a prize. The first name drawn will have the opportunity to choose their preferred prize. A second name will then be drawn to receive the remaining prize.

The two prizes will be:

  • Four (4) tickets to the Celtics vs New York game tickets held Feb 23rd, 2024
  • Two (2) tickets to the Boston Bruins vs Philadelphia Flyers game held on Dec 7th, 2024


Ticket Price:

Tickets can be bought through an approved payment method for $10 per ticket, $20 for 2 tickets, $25 for 3 tickets, $35 for 5 tickets, or $60 for 10 tickets. 

Referral Program:

Participants may earn additional raffle tickets by referring others to the raffle using their unique referral link. To qualify for additional raffle tickets, the referred participant must use the unique referral link provided by the referrer when making their purchase. No tickets will be awarded for referrals that do not follow this process.

Raffle tickets earned through referrals will be automatically assigned to the same prize packages that the referrer has previously selected or purchased. The allocation of referral tickets is random and final.

Referral tickets cannot be transferred to other prize packages once they have been assigned. All ticket allocations are final once processed.

Drawing:

The manual physical drawing to determine the winner of the prize will take place at the Auburn Masonic Hall, 1021 Turner St, Auburn, ME 04210, on Saturday, October 5th, 2024, commencing at 5:45 PM.

Attendance at Drawing:

Winners need not be present at the drawing to claim their prize.
